20-21 September 2008
The Banking and Finance Regatta (BFR) is an exciting new event for companies involved in the banking and financial sectors. The regatta is open to the leading UK and international banks and financial services companies and will be the largest regatta for this sector.
Teams can race onboard several different classes of yacht, depending on their team size and level of experience. Farr 65 yachts are the largest of the three classes and can race with up to 14 guests. Farr 45 yachts can race with up to 12 guests and are for the most experienced teams. Beneteau 40.7 yachts can race with a maximum of 10 guests and with over 35 available for charter will form the largest and most accessible class. J109s are also available for teams of 6 - 7 guests.
The regatta is organised by the Regatta Charity Committee and all profits from the regatta will be donated to the three official regatta charities. The committee has set the objective of raising in excess of £50,000 for charity in 2008. The Regatta Charity Committee will work in partnership with Britannia Corporate Events and ONDECK, the leading sailing and corproate event companies in the UK.
